The Royal Spanish Canoe Federation is very pleased to organize these European Canoe Polo Championships in a very special moment because, this is the third European Championship in Madrid addition of the next 2012 Canoe Polo World Championship.

We trust on the contribution of the participant teams and we are ready to work for a fair competition and a happy stay in our country.

On behalf of ECA, RFEP, FMP and the Organizing Committee, welcome to the 2011 European Canoe Polo Championships. This Competition is possible thanks to the support of institutions and sponsorships. On behalf of the Organizing Committee we would like to thank their help.

The competition will be held in Madrid, Spain, at the Puerta de Hierro’s Pool.

The venue will be well-equipped with all the general spaces necessaries for this event. There will be three pitches and six warming up areas installed into one pool of colossal dimensions: 130x80m. The Organization will also prepare the spaces and facilities to accommodate athletes, equipment´s, vehicles and supporters in the area that surrounds the pool.

The water of the pool is transparent, with the normal chemical treatment, and with a depth from 1’30m to 1´40m.
